Fathers Day 2009

This is my brother and his son at our house on fathers day. Who has more hair???

This is my wonderful hubby. Don't he look low at the table... On fathers day he is sitting on a outside chair, buttt he is at the head of the table... This is dinner I made for Him and Dad. Happy Fathers Day Honey.

Here is my daddy waiting patiently for us all to get seated. Yes he ate more than that great tasting grilled chicken. Look even a big frosted mt. dew. Dad is my buddy, Sometimes we are so much alike it is scarey.. This is my 44th fathers day with my Dad. Love you Dad.

We pretty much hung around the house and relaxed for the day. Mr T got up and had his coffee and went out to moe and work in the yard. Yes that is relaxing to him and I we enjoy being outside at home either sitting outside on the patio or on our chairs on the front porch. So when Dad got home from church I started breakfast and Dad went out to moe the front yard. We had a nice breakfast when they were finished. then we just hung out reading paper or sitting out. Later Mr.T and Dad took a ride with our corvette and brought desert home and I got dinner going we ate and Then my brother stopped by for alittle bit and then we had dessert. And that was our Father's day very relaxed.

AMISH COUNTRY PART 11

This is where it all began , with the two of us in the middle. Suzie and I over 30 years ago we became friends (I was the adopted #4 daughter) of Mr. and Mrs. B. Now here we are with our hubby's. It was a very humid day, but thank our Lord the rain held off till we were litterly getting ready to leave for the day. That was a wonderful blessing to give us such a wonderful day. If you notice some bloatyness.....we just finished a fabulous dinner at Der Dutchman. We ate family style and had pan fried chicken, roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, salad bar, stuffing, rolls and butter along with yummy apple butter and cream corn...we weren't finished yet there was dessert .... You are saying no way.... but of course we said yes and all ordered pie. three got strawberry, one dutch apple , one peanut butter, one pecan praline, and a butterscotch, along with two rasberry vannilla cream thats what Ron and I got it was soooo good. Needless to say we all needed to walk home not drive....

This was my little buddy Ronnie I kept getting his picture with his pie and he was laughing so hard at me...Let me tell you his daddy fixed his plate for him and he gave Ronnie alot of food and he just ate away...

This was our group at the end of the day right before we sat down and ate our meal. Do we look hot and tired and hungrey??? I said lets head to EAT and we all said YES... it was around 5:00pm by then and Ron had to go to work that night after our long day, plus he still needed to drive 2 1/2 hours home to Pa. What a man he is ( I filled him up at the restaurant with meat and carbs and sugar) He loved it.

Well here is thee buggy ride, is this not what comes to mind when you think amish? This what Anna and Ronnie waited all day for. (So were Autumn and Sara and Suzie if true was known) Their horses name was Shirley. And the little old man that took them was so very nice to each of them and we sat on the bench with him and talked when they got back. Sara and Autumn would have much perfered to have just went horseback riding like last week. They are growing up so fast.

So as I have said before we finally found an antique store and it was full of antiques. I used to collect a crystal pattern called Eternally Yours when I lived in Pa. after I got married.
so I went looking to see what I could find, no luck with my crystal but from the sounds of it Megan wanted it all. She is shopping and adding to her HOPE chest. Whoever that guy will be, he will be one blessed guy, I should have said gentleman. Any ways here is my Hubby looking at old record albums, while my lovely daughter is picking up a 45 record and saying what is this!!! Well that was our day trip we took together as family minus my 16 year old that was home taking summer gym so he could take an extra class during the school year. We sure missed you my son. Amish country has always been so relaxing and peaceful to me> I love the drive down there and love the rolling hills and the simple life of it all. It sure is nice to get away from it all and only have to go about 45 minutes from home.

AMISH COUNTRY WITH WONDERFUL FRIENDS

This is my dear Megan. we finally got to a antique shop for her to look and look and... around there sure were lots to look at and there was lots she loved. This is Suzie and Ron's oldest daughter. And she is very special to us. She will soon be having her sweet sixteen birthday that we will not miss.

This is also at the antique shop, with Suzie and Ronnie. Ronnie is the only boy of the family with three sisters and mom, well good thing he and Dad can stand up for them selves... Ronnie is a great little guy with wonderful manners and he loves his hocky team the Pittsburgh Penquins..Need I say another winning team in Pittsburgh the Penquins took the Stanley Cup.

Well here are the two peas in a pod!!!! My dear Sara and Autumn. Needless to say they were ready for the horse and buggy ride by now, and they are looking at me like please no more pictures.. Sara is a gem to us also, very livley and entergetic. Her and Autumn together they are a hoot. Sara you are a special one...

Well Daddy and Daughter here after five days away from home. They both look pretty happy to see each other again. We were waiting for the cheese tour at Hieni's Cheese chalet in Berlin.

And last but definately not least the littlest of them all, this is Anna. She was very patiently wiating for the cheese tour and wanting any and all candy in sight. ha ha. Our little Anna isn't quit sure of us all yet, but we sure do love the little princess. She is four years old now. Autumn got to see last week while spending the week with them all What it's like sharing a room, having three sisters, and two little ones, plus little Ty came over with them for wens. and thurs. He is Lori's youngest son. Lori is my good friend I grew up with while living in Penns. and she is Suzie's younger sister. I will be posting on her and her family soon. We will be going to Ty's first birthday on July 5th.

PENNSYLVANIA......

This week i went to Pennsylvania to stay with some good friends! :] In this picture above is of Sara and I. We just got done from horse back riding at Rolling Hills! It was so much fun!! Also I have been doing this with them through out the week! I got here on Sunday and will be leaving on Friday to go to Sugar Creek to meet my parents and we will all have a chat. :] So far has been great! On Sunday ( the day I got here ) our parents had a chat and ate a great meal they prepared for us. Monday we had babysitting and Maidens ( a bible study group they are involved in ). It was lots of fun! Tuesday we went horse back riding!! There are lots of pictures provided!! ENJOY!
This is me ( my first time on a horse without someone walking beside me!! ) The horse I rode on was named Bugly. A very cute name! (not) ha oh well. I had a great time though. Bugly was a character! He would walk so slow when we needed to get up a hill or move quickly, he would run when ever he pleased, like when there was no running aloud he ran sooooo fast! It was fun though!

This is Sara and I ready to RIDE!! Her horses name was Lumpy. ( He had lots of Lumps )

Me again on Bugly!! ;]

This is Sara and I waiting for our horses to be brought out.
I had a blast!

HOW MUCH FUN

How much fun does this look. It all started when I was this age back in Penn. Except at that time it was different girls. Instead of Autumn, Megan and Sara, it was Jolyn , Lori and Suzie. Then Pammy was the little one now Anna and one Boy Ronnie are the littles now. This is soo great, like I said about 30 years ago this friendship all started to only continue thru our children. What a wonderful blessing from God. How we all can have years of time between us and pick up right where we always left off. Now with this new generation, we can be more together and closer than ever. Can you tell I am so very happy, and that this was my second family back when I was this age.. Well this is right after we pulled up to our Wonderful dear friends home to visit and let my Autumn stay for a week with them . Right to the tire swing they went. This a first for Autumn.

Here is Sara and Megan with Autumn, Suzie made a wonderful dinner for us. We had baked chicken and oven potatoes, green beans and salad with homemade blue cheese dressing YUMMMY... We all ate outside on their deck right under some nice huge trees. I don't think it could have been any better outside and so peacefull with our fellowship. Of course Suzie didn't stop there she made chocolate chip angel food cake and homemade custard pudding...I can say it was really really good. Thanks So much Suzie!!! (I know they will be reading this)

Well of course anyone that knows me knows I am very much a PITTSBURGH fan that would be of the city, the people and yes silly of course THEE NUMBER 1 STEELERS!!!!! There is just something about the state the area the ethnicness of it all... not to mention the hills and curves.

We almost didn't make this trip this weekend, both of the littles were running fevers and we thought oh boy what do we do. So Daddy said we better pass and not go seeing that we are leaving for New England next week..we didn't want to end up with a viral infection and high fever. Well that sure didn't make the girls very happy. Autumn was already packed Sara and Megan already prepared uggg. So sunday morning came Autumn didn't wake up with a big skip or smile kind of sadddddd. We deceided to go to Grandpa's buffet resturant and as we were leaving Susie called just touching base the littles woke up feeling good and no fever!!! hhhmmm
So I got in the care with the family and told them what Susie said and My hubby said lets just eat and take her up there...WOOO HOOO YES THANK YOU DADDY!!! I called gave the good newsand said are we still good to come....Well you know the answer to that...So the week will be filled with memories and friendships along with getting my second family back with alot of extra loving family added.....And more on the rest of the stay later.

A Fun Filled Couple Of Days

This is my brother, never a dule moment with him. And yes I
will confess I'm the oldest by three years. I know you could never tell.
We were at my nieces softball game tonight and he is one of the coaches.

This is my niece Sydney age 11 playing softball, she is
the catcher for the team. She does many other things like cheerleading,
dance, tumbleing and she also has a wonderfull singing voice. It was a
nice evening to see her game.

And this is my girls,McKenzie a good friend and of course my
Autumn. This was yesterday late afternoon they went to the neighborhood
swimming pool, first time this season. They enjoyed it. I remember when
I got to take my two children to the pools and we had to stay in the kiddie
pool, now they don't even need you there. Time goes way to fast. Enjoy your
every minute with your children, like they say time just flies by.
So I say here is another season in my life. My two Little ones are now teenagers.
Well i pray all is good in your season you are in and pray Gods blessings, on
all our friends and loved ones.
Tomorrow I 'm having a jewlery party... WoooHooo, stay tuned to see all the
wonderfull jewlery and see what I choose for me....
Sweet dreams and goodnight

Summer is here

Just sitting here tonight thinking summer is here. It was a gorgous day today, picture perfect. I was outside most of the day and evening, I really enjoy my yard with the flower gardens. My children are out now, that gets kind of sad with the more independed they are. Michael is at a friends and was at his brother Joe's graduation party, we were suppossed to go but we didn't Michael took the card with him on behalf of our family. Wow friends of Michaels graduating, how time fly's and you can not go back. My Autumn is with her friend spending the night at their cabin down on the lake, it is about 1 hour south of here. Her and Lauren have been friends since they could go outside and play. Lauren is our neighbor, and they are a godly pleasant family. Laurens dad is a doctor and I feel for him tonight and tomorrow while Autumn is with him, she hurt her big toe!!!! She will have Mr. P. check it every 5 minutes...I do miss them while they are away. Needless to say it is 9:30 p.m. and our home is very quiet. So I quess I will take advantage of it and catch up on some rest..

What a blessed week this has been

God is so good. He always knows what I need and when. This week not only did I get to reunite with my friend Susie and her two oldest girls, I got to go yesterday to Toledo to visit my dear friend Donna. I personally found thru the years that true friends are very hard to find for me. But when you have a friend that you can pick up the phone and call any time and pick up where you left off and monthes even years past, and you just continue like know time past at all. Well this is the week I was able to have and it feels so good. I have been kind of going thru some struggles and thru are talks and mentering I have a little better bounce in my step. I feel the softer side of me, the life wanting to come out again. I guess I have been a little down and out you can say. I just want to thank my Lord for always being with me and never forsakening me. Some of this may not make any sence, but I need to just blog out my feelings. We are in the Season of newness right now, with all the flowers growing and the gardens being planted this is my Season right now of more growth in my Lord, and having the will to want to grow, is a big step right now.

What can be better than Godly friends and family

Wow this is what seasons of life is about

Our Lord brings people in your life for all different reasons, sometimes for a very short time, sometimes forever. He also knows what we need and who the right human person is to send our way. Saying all that to say thank you Lord for sending my dear friend Susie to me. I know some of the reason he sent her and her beautiful family during this time. But only he knows the whole picture. So to a new season in our lives, we are blest to have this time. Thank you Jesus!!!
