HELP PAINT AND FIXTURES

Are needed, and Hubby wants my decision NOW!!! Here is a before of floor and cabinet, counter. We built out home in 1993 and moved in in 1994. So due for remodel.

Here is new tile we just laid..well hubby laid.

pic of before. For got to take pics before we started doing work.. put wallpaper down and all decor. floor already started being laid at this point.

Here is before of Jacuzzi area.

before counter area minus the mirror.

So glad mirror came down in one piece..The new mirror will be a framed one with dark espresso stain.

New counter top and sink.

Got cabinet in and new sink. Floor can now get finished. Still need to put drawer fronts and doors on. But you can see by the side the color we our staining the birch wood.

So until I make my mind up on paint color and fixtures...we are sitting still. The question is...do I go Rubbed Bronze or Nickel..don't want chrome it shows every water spot. And what color do I paint the walls.

Do I go Tuscan??? Or do I want Glamour...Traditional contemporary? Our trim will all be white. The Jacuzzi area on top will be same as my counter and around the front and sides will be raised panel wood espresso colored like cabinet..jacuzzi, shower, potty, and sink and trim all white...I don't want it dark looking in there, but fresh and clean. Oh decisions....What will I choose???

NICE NIGHT OUT AND GREAT TO GET AWAY

This past weekend Mr.T and I went over night to Cleveland.

You could see the sky.. this was built in 1890's it was really nice.

Our room, check out the curtains from ceiling to floor, my husband is 6ft 2 so you can see how high the ceiling are. The door was very heavy.

We went across the street to the House of Blues...This band did karaoke all the guys were doing YMCA...yes Mr.T went up for this one. Some were great others lets say....not even Idol would listen to them...but it was a good time...Got up next day went to breakfast with friends and headed back home....Love the friendships and laughter...

THANK YOU FOR OPENING YOU HOME

My cousin and his wife opened their home for our family Christmas get together this year. We all had such a nice time, and for most of us we got to see their new home for the first time, and I got my own tour from Brady.

This is one of my favorite rooms in their home..There is also a wood burning stove. I have always wanted a room like this with all the windows...so homey...and relaxing.

My Mom and Aunt...or as I call them Laverne and Shirley....hehehehe remember that show? Please say you do...I know I'm not getting that old...

How can you have a get together with out food..not this family....You never know when you will be caught by the camera....My cousin and Aunt.

Here is two of my guys....My nephew and my brother..Love having the different generations all together.

Besides eating there was a lot of talking and remember when.... going on.

What? Syd telling me goodbye....no it's not over all ready... We will all be together again on Labor Day weekend....Till next time I pray for health and safety for us all.
All my Love Family...

NEW YEAR, NEW PROJECTS

Ok This is a picture of our master bathroom, already in process of being remodeled. we started building our home in march of 1992. We did everything on our own except block and brick. We worked on it nights and weekends. We finally moved in with some work still needing done in January of 1993. So that makes this master bath 18 years old and in need of remodel really bad. So in the pic above we are taking out cabinet, counter , sink and faucet along with taking mirror off the wall. Of course that light will be gone. The linen closet you see in the mirror will get a door and trim...one thing we never finished. We are having our new cabinet made out of birch and stained a dark walnut color. New sink will be white oval. Still debating on oil rubbed bronze fixtures or nickel...Everyone seems to have the same oil rubbed bronze.

Next this is our jacuzzi tub..it is huge..I would love to have it gone...and just make a big door less walk in shower....But there is know way to get this out of the house. So plan b is tile will be gone. New faucet, the tub will have raised panel birch wood front we are making to match cabinet.

New floor will be put down, new white trim around window.

Checking on the tile I want, this is tile A. but the cabinet we will have will be darker.

Or tile C....I'm going with tile C it is warmer and I really like it...Was worried about it all being to dark in the bath but with white tub, shower, sink, and I will use light paint, I should be good.

Of course all trim will be white fresh and clean looking.. Getting rid of Honey oak in the bath..so happy about that.
This is a picture of our granite that will go around top of tub and back part of wall, also our counter top.
I am having a mirror made the same color as our cabinet..so no more full wall mirror, it will be a nice framed one...I am so excited...
