I'M BACK..MY BLOGGER WAS DOWN...

My girls, I picked up the girls after school brought them back to the house fed them and they got ready for their game..Look at those adorable faces..Don't let that fool you, these girls are a HOOT...I only had 1/2 of them today, there is 8 total... Here they are after the game being well their crazy selves..They saw me get the camera out and they start posing as statues.. Itty bitty was heading to the car...it was sooo freezing cold.

My Autumn and Kylie, I could just squeeze them, I have so much fun with these girls, meaning all 8 of them. One more football game to cheer at this season and it has been fun, I will have to still keep them coming over...well every so often...maybe not all 8 at once LOL

Look at this tree, now this says fall and the calender says fall but boy the weather says winter. It was only 40 degrees yesterday windy and rainy, today even colder. We didn't have much of a summer it was like spring weather, but I hope we get some kind of Indian summer around here. Oh 15 more days till ocean and sunshine....I am so looking forward to it all.

I had mentioned in my last post about Hobby Lobby and shopping well I didn't get much, just some floral items I needed to complete a couple arrangements I'm making. It was so hot in the store I asked the clerk about it and she said it has to do with the lights and not going off. they were trying to fix it...I said I'll be back when it's cooler ..Oh these hot flashes of mine. We then went to lunch isn't it what you all do after some shopping? We ate at Applebees, and had a nice lunch and fellowship time. I then had to get home to go to another football game that was away. I went with another mom, I waited for her to get off work because I didn't want her to go alone. The place we had to go was not the best and we even needed police escort there..Isn't that lovely, I wouldn't have went since Hubby was in Pa. and couldn't go but I thought I am not letting my baby girl there without me...All was good except some back talking after the game...and police kept them moving right along....And of course we one by about 5 touchdowns!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME

Today was my 45Th birthday... How very blest I am that I have been able to have another year, here with my family. I woke up this morning actually it was 5:40am wide awake, if you know me that is definitely not the norm. Anyway I laid there and opened my eyes and took a breath and said thank you dear Jesus I am alive day to celebrate another year...How precious life is. My birthday is the 13Th and my Aneurysm was the 31st and my surgery was the 15Th of November. So this time of year is pretty emotional to me a lot of thoughts and what if's and Thank you's for my miracle. Enough of that. I did have a somewhat peaceful quiet day, my choice. It was Autumns first day back to school after being out a week with H1N1. I got a lot of birthday messages and phone calls from family and friends. I thank you all so much for them. My Hubby and children got me my new camera. For dinner I wasn't in a mood to go out so Mike brought Papa Gyro's in for dinner. And bought this pretty cake and we celebrated with us and my parents. Tomorrow my Mom and I along with my Aunt Karen and a friend are going to Hobby Lobby for a birthday present for me and out to lunch. Have a wonderful day and I will post tomorrow on what I choose for my gift and about our day.

DINING ROOM BEFORE PICTURES & START OF RE-DO

Hello, well I went to Kirklands today, I so love that store. They are having such a great sale on pictures and some mirrors along with some fall items. I recieved a $10 certificate from e-mail if you spend $50.00, well that isn't hard the hard part is stopping at $50.00 LOLI got this picture and it is hanging in the dining room, the colors are plums and tans.

Her are the windows, I want some goldish color long drapes for in here. The mirror I got today at Kirkland's also. It is very nice and heavy with beveled mirror black on front and goldish on sides. My lamp is from Home interiors and I can see I need to fix my cord uhggg. The plate is from Kirkland's and my black pieces are home interiors also but I sprayed them black, they were very gold. I might spray a little metallic or something goldish over it. and glass vase from TJ Max.

The empty space between the sconces is where my hutch goes. It is still in storage, between the rain and getting two of my guys together I'm still waiting. Hopefully this weekend sometime. I need to get some new candles for the sconces, they are also from Kirkland's.

Now this is THE BEDROOM in the dining room. This is what it was like when Dad and Mom had their room in here. Oh that reminds me we still need to let the chandelier down. We put it up when they were in there.

This is dining room as I was adding pieces back in. I need to get the chairs recovered before Thanksgiving.

The window area again, I took that picture out and I think I will move them upstairs in the foyer hall area. The walls I want to paint a yellow gold color but that will have to wait till after the holidays. I found a color at Sh. Williams called Asian pear, still looking. FINALLY THE BIG REVEAL OF MISS AUTUMNS ROOM

Hello to you, hope you had a great weekend. My, I did not think this was ever going to down load tonight. I had to upload each picture one at a time and it took about 2 minutes each...Anyway it is finally time to show what we have been doing in Autumns room. Since the pictures loaded backwards we'll start with this one. This picture, Autumn got at a neighbors garage sale a year ago, the frame was unfinished and the vase was lime green. Hmmm we need to reuse some things we have, but in a new way. So I thought lets try taking the picture out, spraying the frame black with spray paint, then I colored the frame in with a black crayon, Miss Autumn said I can still see green..ok lets get a sharpie and try that...TA DA.. and I put a black bubble dot sticker in middle of each flower. On a side note I was holding the glass to clean and it was slicing my fingers and blood was running down my hand..Autumn says Mom what happened look... Ouch I felt it too...Thank God I did not bleed on the picture!!! Here is my Autumn, in front of her mirror we got at Home Goods, the little night light I got her from Kirklands. Autumn made the monogrammed A picture.. she took a frame we spray painted and added zebra tissue paper that came in a gift, cut a pink ribbon and made her A. The pink round chair she got a couple Christmases ago at Spencer gifts. The darling blanket came from her Aunt as a gift and it is so soft and cuddly. We are still working on her closet door, maybe paint them white or leave brown..Plus I see there is a strip of green we forgot to get..oops. plus new handles we need. and new light switch cover.

Oh sorry about the ceiling light glare. I got her curtains from JC Penney's the picture on the right is a cartoon drawling of her as a cheerleader we had done. We want to mount her TV on the wall.

This is a picture I got with her texting on her phone...and resting. Poor thing has been home for the last 7 days sick with H1N1. feeling better but still has raspy voice and drainage. Keeping her home is very hard, she is always on the go.. As I am blogging this I look at these letters and see I need to go change the M and N I can see the word tum..The M should be up and the N needs to go down..another oops. Her bedding came from Penneys and her Nana made her two Zebra pillows that are very soft. The lamp was from before and she wants it out..We need to look for the right lighting and a small chandelier for the ceiling...So girly girl she is.

A close up of her letters we made. Spray painted the letters in white, took some bubble dot stickers on the letters and made bows for the tops with polka dotted ribbon. Letters from Wal Mart and ribbons and dots from Jo Ann Fabrics.

Isn't she so sweet. She is doing the tiny dots I did the bigger ones..Look at that hair I thought she was taking a nap, it was quiet a long time then she appeared with this new do. She was upstairs using her straightener that has different pieces and she kinked it all over...LOVELY!!

And this was the wall color before, a very bright lime color.. with bright jewel color swags and pink accent decor. This was the only picture I could find fast and it was taken the morning of a sleepover. So there it is, we still have some things to do and we are also replacing the carpet very soon, to a cream color. She loves it and as you can see she is not afraid of COLOR! We got her paint at Home Depot, the new color. I never knew how many shades of pink there are. So we took her pillow in to match it off that and it told us the right color.. Sorry it took us along time to post this, it has been crazy around here. My next post will be the before of my dinning room I got back after being a bedroom for 1 1/2 years..Hmmm I have some ideas for it, but right now it will be done in fall then Christmas, before I do what I really want to do...So I am heading to bed it is 10:45 pm and my STEELERS won today so I will have sweet dreams..Have a great week and give a smile to everyone who crosses your path, better yet tell them HELLO and it will sure make you feel good and so will they, that someone even noticed them...Good night.

OOPS I DID IT AGAIN!!!! & I'M NOT SINGING A BRITTNEY SONG

This is strke two for me. I can not make a double cake any more with out it sliding off...I never had it happen to a douple just my triple..I know I don't need any of this but it was for the family!!!LOL Now looking at the picture I think I know what it is..it is this t-shirt..I think I had this on when I did the Triple cake.back in August..One good thing I iced it and we ate half right away...I had to smile right??? After I had served the cake I walked out to the kitchen and this is what was on the counter..Ta Da..that is after toothpicks were already put in it. Thank God it didn't slid on the floor and then the dogs would have ate it!! Oh my that could have been leathel chocolate and dogs.

Then this is the reaction I get from my one that has been sick all week with H1N1..What happened to the cake...I had the same look before her. What baking memories am I making...

All I can say is, you all that are bakers and love it need to be comended, what a talent it is and it's not for me.. Quess what I'm making the Pumpkin pies for Thnksgiving!!! Stay tuned..

I AM HAVING A CRAVING!!!!!

Look at these, do they not make your mouth water?? Apple Fritters I have craved these for a couple weeks now. A have yet to get one of these lushious fritters. Hubby went to Fishers two times after 7:30 pm to see if they had any on mark down. Nope all gone..

After the second trip I said I don't care what they cost now I just want one...Well with all the excitement around here a day or two went by and now TODAY IS THE DAY...Wow that is demanding of me..I called hubby and said before you come home please stop and get me my APPLE FRITTER....He laughed and laughed...then I said I am p.m.s ing...He said I'll find them somewhere !!!!! So I will let you all know...Is anyone else having any cravings? If so what is yours....

MY AUTUMN GOT IT & BUSY LAST COUPLE WEEKS

Well we just got back from the Dr.'s and Autumn has a mild case of H1N1. The Dr. said they aren't even testing for it anymore because it has hit the area and all the symptoms are the same. He said the regular flu bug is not out yet.
Last Friday right after school Autumn left for church camp and got home Sunday feeling tired and her throat hurt, I thought OK of course your tired and you been outside you have some sinus drainage. she went to bed Sunday night and got up around 2:30 am said she was so weak she couldn't lift her arm...I said honey you are just so tired lets get a drink and get back in bed. Well alarm went off for school and she felt awful, so I said you need to just stay home today and rest.
Sent her to school Tuesday she said in the morning I feel much better...( she does not like missing school and cheer leading) so around noon I get a phone call from her...Mom she said my teachers keep looking at me and told me I need to go home..I feel sick I ache and my throat and weak. I say Honey can you hold out 2 more hours.....I am getting my hair done!! Can you even believe I said this, I'm awful..but on Tuesdays I pick cheerleaders up from school to get them to Gymnastics class..My hair wasn't the only reason honest....anyway she said I'll try..I got to school and they came out and she looked like a ghost pale and glossy eyed..Oh my! So I get the cheerleaders to class Autumn wants to stay to see what her cheer coach does for the next 2 games on cheers... So by the time we get home I got liquid and pain relievers in her, then chills, next thing mom can you turn on the air conditioning!!! You have got to be kidding ... So we all went to bed at 8:30 pm. Now through this all Hubby is in a big meeting all day and out to big dinner with owners....I can't bother him and he has no idea what went on all day. So alarm goes off for our Michael and none for Autumn.. he says Why isn't she getting up?? Well let me tell you.
So all that to say we had a 10:20am Dr appointment and H1N1 is it.
See the picture how it uploaded crazy well that has been the last couple weeks. Last week I sold Our beat ----- shirts at the middle school t-f 10-12:15. we do this against our big football rival team every year. plus my regular schedule with the cheerleaders and the dinners and practice and games as well as my Michael was home 2 days last week and I am now wondering if he had a case of this. Monday this week 150 students absent from middle school on Tuesday 179...All this coming off a week of a very sick dogie, and we praise God all her symptoms are gone and he healed her, so no surgery for her. My Moms back and hip was very bad she could not get herself out of bed or tie her shoes. I told her to call her Dr. that did her surgery and get an appointment. Well Sunday at church she stood up for healing prayer and since then she has not hurt at all. Praise God....So all this shall pass and we will all be as good as new. My prayer is that no one else in the family gets this...You all have a wonderful week and I will be back to my blogging with some pictures soon..My hubby got me a new camera a Canon Rebel I want to try out. He wanted to get me the Nikon but I did not want to pay that price right now...you can put out alot of money for cameras...WOW WEE!!
